Does the fear of death prevent a fullfilled life?
by Evidently Apostate inas time continues along with my exit from the religion i think about this question often.
is living a slaves existence in order to hopefully gain an eternal life worth it?
i have begun to wonder what will happen to me when i am dying whether i will see a bright light or not or will i awaken to a heavenly courtroom to be judged for my deeds that will be laid before me.

Keeping my shields up is wearing me out
by Evidently Apostate insometimes i find myself carefully monitering a persons body language, whatching for instinctive reactions listening carefully to thier words.
just jws and some extended family, and almost anyone i do business with.
not out of fear but to find out if there is a selfish motive or agenda.

i had a discussion with my FIL about his elder school exp.
by Evidently Apostate inone comment made by the speaker was " people think they are happy because they are satisfied.
but look at a smoker, he is satisfied and yet noone would say they were happy as a smoker".
i looked at him and asked why they would use an analogy that contained a deadly habit as a way to get you to visualize happiness?

when will i taste freedom?
by Evidently Apostate infor all those that have been able to rescue thier loved ones from this religion the feeling of freedom and security must feel incredible no matter what outside influence attacks you it must be easier to fend off with a family united.
i am not one of those situations and i am always dancing around the truth about the truth with my wife.
she can turn on the blinders and question me and level blanket statements like" you dont belive in an armageddon" or "your a completely different person than you were a year ago".

Where did you sit in the KH?
by Evidently Apostate inthe official wt understanding on where to park your butt during the meeting is to move around from meeting to meeting in order to get in more association or whatever but i never really saw things that way.
the kh seating arraingment at my hall went as follows;.
if you sat in the front you were really late or wanted to seem really spiritual.. the elders and pioneers always liked the same seats every meeting.. shiftless ones and those who wanted sympathy for thier back ailments would stand in the back during the talks.. ever had a sister in your hall bring in their own chair and footstool?.

Let the children come to me and do not stop them!
by Evidently Apostate indid the christ have a different line of thought other than using them as an example of teachableness and meekness?
i often wonder how he would feel about his people using the young as examples of integrity putting great responsibility on them coaching them to set up thier own magazine route.
instead of enjoying association participating in school sports where valuable charicter traits are learned such as sportsmanship, assertion, generosity, and trust the "spiritual youth" will devote his energies to the studying of doctrines that bless the slaughter of billions, that only by living a life of slavery to a leadership that forgoes compassion, tolerance, and forgivness will they not be put to death.

im not lying about my time anymore, my wife does it for me
by Evidently Apostate inhavent been out in cult recruiting in 7 months but mama keeps putting in slips with a couple hours on it even though i tell her not to.
bless her for keeping the elders off my back.
i really want her to stop doing this though as i would welcome a minor confrontation with them now that i have a "brazen" attitude..
